From darkness to art: My journey
My artistic journey began in childhood, shaped by experiences related to a physical deformity. This taught me to embrace the darkness and channel it into art. Starting with pencils, I discovered pen and ink in high school, a medium that truly resonated. My fascination with the unknown, inspired by movies and literature, led me to a love for detailed, surreal, and darker subject matter. Often, I begin drawing without a preconceived design, allowing the art to unfold into macabre, impressionist, sci-fi, or fantasy creations. For paintings, I use bright colors to create bold, deliberate imagery. I believe artists should continuously explore different tools and techniques, prioritizing personal expression over audience expectations.
Harmonizing art with music
My focus on custom work for the music industry is driven by a desire to create atmospheric, suggestive, and emotional imagery that deeply resonates with musicians and their audience. I aim for the artwork to be a true visual extension of the music, enhancing the listener's experience and accurately representing the essence of what they're about to hear. Collaborating with bands allows me to translate their sonic landscape into compelling visuals, forging a powerful connection between sight and sound.
